Eviction Southern Africa
Evictions and forced removals are not isolated to South Africa. Forced land removals take place daily in several sub Saharan African countries. Dealing with the displacement of families and the repercussions thereof is far more difficult when it occurs beyond the borders of your own country. Mozambique can be found in the South Eastern part of Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, offering very popular beaches to visit. You can find Tanzania to the north, Zimbabwe to the west, Malawi and Zambia northwest and of course South Africa and Swaziland off to the southwest. We are always looking for donations and sponsorship to aid us with our anti eviction initiatives and Ashanti Backpackers in Cape Town have been a tremendous help in their dedicated support to our initiatives.
